Tispy in town Tuesday

Well I will be later as am being fed and watered courtesy of one of the advisory firms (who are also our auditors so they can't use it as an excuse to try and sell stuff to me). Win win.

Otherwise it's onto the corporate hamster wheel I go, powered by coffee...

Good night in the pub with the youngest rugrat / now officially an adult. His girlfriend looked rather hungover this morning.

nice run with a pal and now work snizzle. Maybe a swim later and change one of the beds ahead of visitors at the weekend as the current wife’s grandmothers bed frame is knackered

Slightly tipsy on 1st leg of journey home, Emirates managed to pack in decent meal, fizzy, very nice red, port and a decent malt whisky in a sub 3 hour flight!

    Morning

Seems very pleasant out although there was a slight frost first thing. Might go for a ride at some point.

Lovely day, wasted driving about. Car to mechanic this morning, through traffic across town, then back via the usual half dozen errand stops along the way.

    More of the same tomorrow.

    A'noon.

Sleep Sleep Sleep.. Only interrupted by visit from Stoma nurse this morning. Doing everything right apparently which is good. Bad is the excruciating stomach spasms I'm having every 20 mins or so since Sunday pm. Hospital appointment tomorrow morning to get it checked out.

So bad last night I sat down for tiny bit of food but felt so nauseous I actually threw up! First time in 39 years! Horrible.

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

A long few days, drove up to Edinburgh with wifey on Monday after a 10km run on Sunday which isn’t ideal for the legs.

Shopped. Ate. Drank etc etc etc.

swam this morning, ate haggis which is lovely despite it’s misgivings. I’ve had it loads before but never a spicy one…

Hotel pools are shit, figured I’d get two extra strokes per length if I swam diagonal being the only person using it.

Left said wifey in the spa whilst I did some stuff to pay for the above eating and drinking expenses and set off home.

Tebay may be to most, a rather unimaginative service station on the M6 but we found a decent pub in Tebay itself on the way home for food so all in all a good few days.

    Im ready for bed now.

In Dubai airport which is massive and then you go through the assigned gate and get held in an area barely big enough for the flight's worth of passengers.

Can't complain about the first 2 legs to Dubai, loads of food and plentiful booze.

No idea if what time of day it actually is....

Well that puts Tebay to shame...

  • Tebay South is a bit better than the North one, which is starting to seem a bit run down.
