Slow Start Sunday

Well it must be slow if there's no daily thread started by time I get out of bed.
Misty here again, hope the sun gets it's arse in bear soon. Not a lot planned for today. Got people coming round to collect our old fridge freezer which I flogged on Fleabay: rinse and repeat with old TV soon. Outing with hounds later and catch up on a bit of admin.

Up and out of accommodation, wee forest sculpture walk with the kids, tasty brunch, then drive back to Christchurch. 27c by that time 🥵.
Bit of bike sorting, sawing a bit off handlebars of that got dragged along the motorway.... Just 1 day left here.
Also bonus - paid for upgrade to business class for flights home, much less than if we had booked it originally.
Bed now....

If there is a flight where it's worth upgrading to business, then NZ to UK is probably it.

Shouldn't that be biznis class? I thought you would have picked up the lingo by now.
Morning(ish)
Grey and damp here.

Morning. Big lie in today.
Breakfast. Coffee. Felt dizzy. Back in bed.
Anyway Vince I thought Sundays in NZ were dedicated to 'dick maintenance '?
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

'ning
nippy but lovely and bright, blue sky and shiny thing, i'd forgotten that could happen in the uk
had a most enjoyable evening at the theatre with the ladies, private box and much bubbly, went to see "pride and prejudice (sort of)", great fun, i recommend it
properly, one says j, not business/biznis, anything over 4-5 hours should be on a flatbed seat, it's the law
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Afternoon All. Nice family walk from early doors with the mutt. Full English enjoyed part way around. Blue sky and golden orb making it a lovely day. Set for the week. Off on bike shortly. Enjoy. FFS Vince no bringing my witch sister back with you, not even in a casket.

Afternoon folks,
I was up early by my standards for a Sunday and was wobbling around on my new old bike by the time the thread was started 😳
Bloody cold first thing with a bit of frost around so I plumped for sexy tights Seano style. Nice and bright with that strange golden orb in the sky.
Off to Whitney again tomorrow morning.
Have a good trip back Vince.

Got a few upgrades to first back in the day, best one was on a London to Sydney flight. On the first leg of the flight, the cabin was full but when I got back in after the stop off at Changi, I was the only person in first. So put my junk on one seat, ate and watched a film on another and had them set up a third one as a bed. Cabin crew had pretty much nothing to so were happy to oblige 🙂

Busy morning at a 10k trail race, regret not taking it seriously and training and drinking yesterday as could have won it, managed third, but annoyed with myself.
in the hot tub with a cuppa, recovery drink and a coke - should get my arse in gear and get a haircut before the pub

Afternoon
It was up and out early doors for todays club run. Felt overdressed stood in the sun waiting the other to arrive. But by the time we were in the up reaches of Bransdale felt decidedly underdressed. Still a coffee and scone in Helmsley put things right. Now waiting for Mrs W to finish gardening and then I can start on the Red recovery drink.

What's it worth to leave her here?

Yep, they are still playing on that one, local radio has an advert that starts "Phoned my mate about the state of my d*ck and he put the phone down"

Isn't it better to enjoy life and come third than be miserable and win? After all, you know if your existence was as miserable as theirs you'd have won.

Thanks, will do!
