Pleasant 20c and light cloud , did a sightseeing cycle loop round Christchurch, with cafe stops, cycle paths much improved from a couple of years ago.

Had another short session on the crappy exercise bike last night as that was all I could stand - so boring. Got the usual work stuff doing plus some annual performance reviews to do with the minions, not a big problem but HR make it all a bit bloody convoluted. Time for a coffee.

White coat syndrome strikes again, think I scored a record high for my BP count. I'll just do my own checks at home in a lower pressure scenario, always come in below the target for ok limit.

Went for a longish bike ride as it was nice and bright. However it was colder and windier than it looked but it’s a step in getting decent fitness back. Now sat in front of log burner getting toasty warm.

Home at last! Been back for about 45 mins. Nice cuppa tea in my big mug. Unpack stuff. Sort out meds. Got massive antibiotic pills. They are comedy big! 2 of them. You'll find that hard to swallow!
Nice lie down on our comfy bed. Now wifey has abandoned me in favour of her running club. I know where her priorities lie!
