Prodded at 5.30 for blood pressure check which was very low. Not surprised as just come out of hibernation.

Child focused day, dropped off cake to childminders for 2 Yr old birthday, took 7rd old to trampoline/tumbling class the other side of town. Warm but not too roasting today.

Ah yes! A mystery!!!

Got up for a wee at 0.30am. Got back into hospital bed and found that despite the sheet and blanket being tucked in at the bottom and one side that the blanket was next to my skin and the sheet on top! Fumbled about in semi darkness to rectify situation but still remain confused as to how this happened?!

Very soggy start, lots of spray on the motorway. Now on the train sitting next to the heater to dry out.

Got annual my appraisal with the boss today, should go alright although profits this year aren't up to scratch so bonuses may not be great.

Bright but soggy here. Might leave it a while to dry up before going for a ride as I don’t want to spend an hour post ride cleaning my bike again. Mrs W seems very quite this morning I wonder if it’s anything to do with last nights village quiz in the pub, oddly our team were the last to leave. Which might have been this morning rather than last night.

Arses! Bloody Blood tests today show inflammatory markers still too high 😫 Will need CT scan so means another night in hospital. Everything else OK though.

Saw surgeon today. Apparently the removed section of anus,rectum,bowel,colon, about a foot long, came back from histology and showed no spread of cancer outside of colon wall and all 27 lymph nodes sampled were clear of cancer cells. Excellent!

No rain here, been dry as a chip for weeks now.

Been tidying up and cleaning out the shed. This is no small task. Managed to offload half a dozen old doors, some spare other odds and ends that are no longer used, and you can barely notice the difference. Sifting the pile of timber offcuts for workshop jobs to decide what's firewood, what's maybe usable, and what's scrap is next.

Back to driver duty tomorrow, a few hours to fill in around town.
