    'Agent Picolax'!?!

    blu-tone – 2007-07-18 07:47:36

Picolax turned my bum from it’s usual semi-dormant state…

A bit like Vesuvius; an impressive and majestic sight with occasional noxious whiffs, regular minor expulsions of dangerous matter and a very rare display of awesome ferocity worthy of international news into…

…a portal from another collapsing largely aqueous universe via which all compressed matter emerged at trans light speeds, expanding exponentially as it emerges from the “wormhole“.If you think the widespread deluges of precipitation experienced this “summer“ in any way approach “Biblical Proportions“, then rest assured by 09:00 tomorrow you will have ample personal evidence to entirely revise your delusion.I will add three pieces of advice, two very useful, the other certainly very serious.

    1. Wear tracksuit bottoms or other baggy style garment with elasticated waist, this might give you an outside chance. PLEASE READ THE NEXT ITEM VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE TAKING “AGENT” PICOLAX
    2. CHECK THE TIME & DATE OF APPOINTMENT ON THE HOSPITAL LETTER, REPEAT.
    3. CHECK THE TIME & DATE OF APPOINTMENT ON THE HOSPITAL LETTER.
    4. Have a TRUSTED friend verify your reading of the details in ITEM 2

WCA, If you are looking for an INTERESTING thread tomorrow then I’ll try to explain from personal experience why ITEM 2 above is so vital.

To those about to take Picolax, we salute you… (TBC)

    Beat me to it.

Here's the link to the whole thing which I recommend @photonic69 reads carefully while he's sitting on the bog...

    Morning(ish)

Cold and damp again. 0 sunshine hours on 8 consecutive days. Meh.

    Coughing up stuff. Great innit.

Heap big conundrum for Beans: invasion of the Tabby. Unfortunately, Beans has not got Zelensky resolve but fortunately, the Tabby is quite the opposite of Putin. Still, the internal turmoil must not be underestimated. To add to his woes, Mrs Pinno pulled out the ironing board. There is no greater threat to life than an ironing board*.

Well, apart from men in fluorescent jackets/vests but they don't come inside.

    Much coffee needed.

    Laters.

    Morning

Another cold and dank day but given the current state of me there’s no way I’d be going for a ride. Just been sat looking at pictures of the house when it was empty after it had been a pub/ restaurant. I don’t think I’d have wanted to eat there given the state of the kitchen.

Anyhow, junior got me a pack of 'flavoured' instant coffee that featured on Dragons Den so am just committing sacrilege in the eyes of the coffee purists by having a vanilla coffee.

Later is a trip to the shops and some more watch photography for the Fleabay ads. Shoulder coming along nicely, still a bit stiff when stretching but not bad going for 16 days post op.

And an added bonus that I opened a letter from the DVLA and the road tax on the Panzer is now down to the same as on Wifeys Polo. I'm rich...

DVLA reduced the road tax? Why? Mine is extortionate.

Gentle run with a pal to ease legs after yesterday’s race. Pickleball in a min with some pals and then a walk with the current wife to a pub and back to the local to catch up with friends

Cars that cost over £40k new get whacked with a road tax surcharge for the first 5 years before it drops back to the standard rate.

as we’re not being picked up until late we decided to grab a few more hours on the slopes. Now chilling with a beer waiting for the coach.

    Puppy cuddles later!

Afternoon peeps. Good deed for the year done. Dropped young oxo's old car of with new owner, another young learner driver. Left him with some petrol in and the dashcams just in case. Bloody cold here i know that much. Not sure if want to know about poonamis and shitgate, did enough of that with the kids and being my grans carer for a bit. Not nice. Good luck photonic.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

I’ve never heard of picolax before, there was a whole thread about it somewhere?

I'll cover your Picolax and raise you 2 litres of MoviPrep, the most disgusting substance ever to have passed my lips, bar none. Done twice already, once for initial inspection, once for first pass (pardon the pun) polyp removal, second pass to come soon. Nobody warned me as a young man that getting old was going to be this undignified. I just hope that my harris is up to all this.

What happens to PNs stoma bag on a flight? Does it go the same way as a bag or crisps?

Haha! Dunno? It has a charcoal filtered vent hole so I'd hope not!!

Don't think much of this Picolax. It's really nothing compared to Moviprep as mentioned by @manglier above! That stuff really is EVIL! Had it twice. Turned me into the Stanway House Fountain with an impressive gush of 300ft! At unpredictable intervals.

Now on no food till after op. Or I can have a snack before midnight. Two leaflets contradict each other. Might have a slice of white toast if I'm starting to gnaw my hands off.

Edit: starting to feel like John Hurt in Alien....

Edit 2: flights are off the cards for the moment largely due to extortionate travel insurance for me with my multiple conditions!
