Tis Valentines Day. It was early. Chocs, Roses and Card had to be retrieved from awkward hiding places and presented. Couldn't think of an F'ing for Lovers. Maybe Firm Friends. I guess one would have to be firm?

Card to Mrs. followed by reciprocal card to me - this will be the extent of Valentines day "celebrations" although she is probably harbouring the hope that we're going out tonight. Breakfast, coffee. I have a cold and first game of rugby in a while tomorrow so probably no pub tonight. WFH as usual.

My cold seems to lingering on, no major symptoms but just feeling crap and bringing mucus up every time I clear my throat. I also seem to have given it to daughter dearest which has gone down well. Later will be going in to St Andrews for a meal but I’m sure what’s happening between now and then.

Afternoon Wasters,
Spent most of the morning on calls to the Kingdom of Far Far Away, then quick dash to the PO to get shot of watch I wasn't wearing much. Just stopping for a cave based lunch, then Mrs. 666 has offered to cook something nice for dinner, so will pull a bottle of 'Sungod Alcopop' for the occasion.

Enjoyable last section of the wee tour obligatory snaps and then a pint of decent porter at the harbourside brewery. Then had to slog back up last hill to retrieve the car....
