Sunday's Snot Might Suspend Sphincter Surgery

Moroning all.

Witch-Sister has fucked off back to Scotland and has kindly donated her cold. Great. Just fucking great. If I'm not well surgery might be delayed. Marvellous.

Grrrrr.

Just waiting for nice cuppa tea from wonderful wife.

Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

  • Evening! That is a scunner p69.

Easy ride after shuttle and helicopter transfer and a stay in a cool cottage with great views. Salmon and steak, rhubarb crumble etc delivered to the cottage for us to cook and heat up. Excellent.

    Bikes being transferred!

Running but not sure who with or when, friends need to learn to avoid the pain of hangovers

eldest back to uni and after the joys of the rugby yesterday I’ve remembered I sold a bike and gave the money to the current wife for a weekend away rather than that new garmin I was looking at πŸ™„

I thought bike rides were eco friendly?

Yep. If that cold is anything like wots I have, it's a pig. Buy lots of expensive oranges and make juice PN.

I bet Mrs TLW is chortling.

SOS: Me still coughing. Very sunny but cold and I cannot exploit it. This is the longest i've had off the bike through illness in more than a decade. Not happy. Send help, STOP

Bad luck PN, at least she's gone.

Good going Vince, looks like a pretty cool holiday you're having.

Had another little lie in as I'm sure it helps the healing process. Now chilling with hounds and a coffee as is traditional on a Sunday morning. Weather still look pants which at least means I'm not missing much on the riding front and should be good to go again by time it warms up/dries up a bit.

To pass the time I might take some pics of a couple of watches I'm going to stick up for sale soon. If I can be arsed.

T'was Mrs Pinno's birthday yesterday. I only bought her useful stuff: a bottle of vino and some Lindt dark. Muggins had 1 glass out of it on account of lurgy. Boo!

However, made Lasagne with home made Lasagne sheets. I concluded that the 1 hr and 45 mins to put it together (the Ragu is made well in advance) mainly 'cos of pre-cooking factory pasta would be better spent making the sheets myself.

    Make dough - 10 mins.

    Put dough in cling film.

Put milk on (plus ingredients) for Bechamel.

    Defrost Ragu.

    Do chores and stuff

    Make Bechamel.

Roll out dough for pasta sheets.

    Assemble as you go.

Done in 1 hour flat. Ta da!

Morning all. Hard luck photonic at least she's buggered off and you can moan at her for giving you a cold. Pinno and beans are lonely and need help. Pinno also needs to learn when to make stuff and when to go M&S for stuff, she wouldn't know the difference. Anyway I digress, it's damp and dreary out so cba to do a great deal.

That would destroy a unique ecosystem.

Coughing too much for external eating unfortunately.

    Beer soon!

Airport goggle purveyors are obviously thick, when one asks β€œdo they HAVE to be Oakley sir?” I just walked out.

It was an expensive bottle of wine you baskets.

Anyhoo, the Lasagne took effort rather than chucking money at it.

    Evening

I too seem to have P69 sisters cold. Went to the climbing wall in Dundee with Grandson, Mrs W and daughter dearest went round the V&A. After climbing myself and Grandson risked a stroll through Dundees downtown to the V@A to meet up for lunch. I felt reasonably safe as he’s just started doing martial arts again and for a 10 year old, he looks at least 12. Took Frankie the dog for a walk when we got back.

in very little oil and much heat, stir fry chunks of pork loin with capsicum, pineapple, and many diced green chillis, splash of light soy sauce at the end, do not overcook the chillis

portion: 250-300g pork loin : half a capsicum : half a pineapple : 8 chillis (more if they're the tiddly birds eye ones)

serve with saute potatoes, a small tin of sweetcorn, light soy sauce for dipping

    guaranteed to clear the tubes
