Wife off to the Smoke to see Barbie Exhibition, paying particular attention to The Butt of Ken to see what I'll look like after.the op.

Tea delivered to me in bed. She's a very very good wife.

    Lying on bed having a lie in and OH dispatched to work to keep me in the manner to which I'm accustomed. Broke 😉. May venture out later on gravel bike and then eldest is cooking dinner at his place. More beer i suspect, topping up after last night's little drink.

    Grey and breezy here. Need to do some packing as we are off to see daughter and grandson tomorrow, so it will up at 4:30. Might go back to bed when said packing’s done.

    Woke up to frosty frosty frost - looked like it had been snowing.

    Right Yorkshire lads from York in Yorkshire scaffolder blokes turned up extra early. Caught me on the hop a little.

    1.30am coughing fit didn't help but this morning heralded a new type of green stuff which my body finds easier to eject.

    Mrs Pinno's birthday tomorrow. Might have to get her a card or do I do a home made job?

    Going to get a fake Firestick so I can watch cycling.

    Soggy here. Decorator still here so working in the cave while Mrs. 666 supervises decorator and hounds. Need to do a bit more of my phsio routine, one of which looks a bit like an Elon Musk salute so just as well nobody can see me.

    Will pop down the shops later for supplies and I reckon a large G&T to round off the week might be appropriate. Better than those painkillers, although I did try out the morphine based version they gave me - just out of curiosity.

    But for now, another coffee...

    Apparently the fake firesticks tend to buffer a lot, maybe not so much for niche sports like cycling but a man with a dog down the pub said that the new stuff, films etc are hard work.

    Slow start after quick drink after the run ended in the early hours.
