Grey, gloomy grey but not quite freezing. Set to go colder this week.

    Anyhoo 0-morning!

I have failed to extract lungs for scrubbing purposes so today will be mowstly spent coughing. Kiwi fruits consumed for inherent Vit C content.

Started dry. Now drizzle and mizzle.

Waiting for 1st of 2 appointments this morning. First Gastro. 2nd Onc. Discussing recent scans. Hoping it's good news!

Decent nights sleep had. Frosty, Working From Cave while Mrs. 666 supervises the decorator who's doing up the kitchen. Usual work stuff is on-going, must remember to do my physio routine at some point.

    Morning

Dry and reasonably bright here. Bathroom continues to get fitted so another week of banging and crashing. Might ride again later as it might be one of the better days of the week.

    Well appointment #1 down.

Looks like I'll have a shit-fountain installed in two weeks today. It'll be permanent and I'll be converted to a "barbie arse". Should save on toilet paper.

Surgery done by robot. Hopefully not Norbert. Neat and tidy.

    Waiting for #2.

Rebooked skiing for this coming Sunday as MrsHD is 99% normal. I'm not sure women can ever contain 100% of normalness.

The plus side of this booking is that it's an afternoon flight so we've booked the lounge.

    Morning folks,

Early start was dark and gloomy, M40 was a car park for a bit due to some idiot trying to get into the back of a van with his car. Nothing else to report.

Good news PN, except for the 💩 ⛲

Great news on that front PN, obviously less so on the **** fountain thing. I was going to say that's a bummer but it didn't seem quite right...but better the bad news on part 1 and good news on part 2 rather than the other way round!

Good news for you @photonic69, pleased to hear that. Mr WS has another round of scans coming up later this month, hopefully with similarly good outcome.

Hot day here, low 30s C for a change, fairly rare down here to get above 30. Quite nice though. Finished another lot of paintwork in the living room, now just gotta move all the furniture back to where it belongs.

Good news PN69. And welcome to the Club. Dunno if I will be a permanent member or not, have a follow up with surgeon next week, though recall him saying while I was still bedbound in hospital that decision yes/no on a piping reconnection was some way down the line. One does save on bogroll. Except when baggie contents are a little too full and too fluid.... too much info? Enjoy your lunches y'all.

And as for southern hemisphere sunworshippers. Pah.

@photonic69 well yeah, I didn't think you'd be too happy about being bunged up for ever.

But the upside is the cost saving on toilet roll!

Good news photonic apart from the bag, but could've been a lot worse. As HD says you'll save a fortune on bog roll.

Erm, nah. From my couple months or so back in the cognitive world , nae farts so far. Well, not from the usual place. One does experience occasional gaseous release through the pressure valve on the stoma bag, which one cannot control or mediate like wot is the normal world. Timing of that sort of release is everything...

(Determined to cause retching am I... 😉)

I suppose I shouldn't ask if the contents of Stoma bags get worse after a curry?

Thanks for all the kind words and best wishes from you guys. It means a lot to me. Yeah, it'll be tough to adapt to the shitbag. A real change to normality. Guess it'll stop the skiddies in me keks. Apparently I'll be "sewn up" down there!! No more gay sex for me....
