edited February 2 in Road general

Having just read about Eurosport and Discovery+ being swallowed by TNT sports, the standard subscription for watching all cycle sports is to be increased from about £7 a month to £30 from the end of February. Yes, £30 a month to access all the races we’ve been watching for decades. For the £30 a month, you can also watch underwater basket weaving competitions and the Tiddlywinks worlds champs as well as a host of other guff, cyclists aren’t interested in. Well done ASO and UCI, greed always wins out in the end. Just cancelled my subscription, and from other forums, lots of others are too. It’s the only way to hit CEO’s in the pockets. Googling a VPN, where it remains far cheaper to watch in Europe apparently.

Won't be watching anytime soon. Buggered if I'm paying to watch it.

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.
  • I've no idea why they wouldn't do.a cycling only choice .I don't know anyone into cycl8ng that cares that much about all the other stuff they are trying to give you.

That said I see this buying spare parts ,they give you things you don't really need bundled to the part you do want with no single option at stupid prices .

Its no wonder people are buying iptv in drives these days

They are doing it because they hope people will be lazy and just say 'oh ok I'll pay it' but I think they have misjudged it really badly.

Across multiple platforms, I think I have seen 3 or 4 people saying they will continue at £30.99 a month.
