Bosch PowerMore battery compatibility

When I bought my 2024 Trek Powerfly (Gen 4, Bosch CX Smart System) Both Trek and the dealer said it wasn't compatible with the range extender battery. Fast-forward to the first firmware update and the Bosch Flow app says it is compatible. Trek still maintain that it's not physically compatible, but the only reason I can see is the flip-up socket cover that sticks out. Has anyone out there managed to mate the PowerMore to this model of bike? I'm still not convinced its not possible.

I strongly recommend that you should address this exact same questuion to the EMTB forum. The EMTB forum is a UK based forum for electric bikes. It has a global membership and it is free to join. I have found it to be a helpful, informative and friendly place, with ony the very occasional A*hole. The site has a "Sheriff" to intervenes in such cases to restore calm.
Bosch is a very popular motor for e-bikes and I am 100% confident that you will find an informative response very quickly. You may find some that solve your problem for you but in a different way.
I cannot answer your question myself as I have only had Shimano motors so far.
