Morning. Arrived half an hour early at health centre for dressing change and flush. Really thought traffic was going to be worse.

Ho hum. Sat in car in hat and gloves having a snooze. No coffee.

Then off for diabetes eye screening after this. Means I won't be able to see until lunchtime. Perfect for a snooze. Maybe coffee after.

    Laters.

    @pinno Pontypridd eh? Exotic!

Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

    Morning Folks,

Up too early but made it into the office with no dramas. Waiting to hear back about whether the shoulder quack can check me over tonight or on Friday afternoon.

Home after eye screening. Pupils like saucers. Can't really focus. Can't do anything much. Maybe some snoozy antihistamines and Tramadol kinda day?

    Laters.

Lazy hotel start which was pleasant, still managed decent pig based breakfast and get into the office before 8.

lots of meetings, hopefully avoid ale in the hotel and have another decent run and takeaway chicken

The summer of endless.... jobs to do. Tidying up (finally) a bunch of things that really should have been done a few years ago, but weren't. Paint. Replace old exterior timbers. Fix a bunch of bad lighting.

Some professional help enlisted but there's still a lot to do.

Mate coming round tomorrow armed (literally) to cut a swathe through the local rabbit population.

    Afternoon

Fog put paid to my idea of an early bike ride, however it did clear despite the forecast saying it wouldn’t. So managed a ride this afternoon, felt rather chilly though but I suppose I’m not used to the outdoor stuff at present.

Came home via urgent care centre and left MrsHD on a saline drip and an antibiotic one to boot.

Very low kidney function but the drip etc seems to have done the trick and the numbers went the right way after a few hours. She's currently asleep under a douvet and has to go back again on FRiday for more tests. Acording to the doc, staying in would have been best but someone overruled him due to a high infection rate on the wards which may be for the best I suppose.

My main question during the examination was "will she be fit for skiing at the end of the month"?

Speaking of which, @Stevo_666 what's this I read about your shoulder?

Hope mrs HD is OK? Worrying times. Do they know the underlying causes?

Not really sure why but it’s been put down to E. coli as it wriggle its way around that part of the body every now and again. and apologies for the 3am reply but I’ve just got in bed after returning her to the hospital where she’s been grounded for the night. Burning up on the couch etc so we went back in to be safe and they’re putting her on a second drip.

To be fair, she’s happier there having people who know what they’re doing.
