    Morning

Bright and sunny here but just hovering above freezing. So I imagine the back roads will be an icy no,no for a while yet. So more coffee.

Colder than expected which is rubbish.

sore back - assumed I had slept badly forgetting I played pickleball and then stood in the pub for hours 🙄

lots of meetings and then a run with friends later

Breakfast and coffee done WFH as usual cold, damp and generally uninviting outside. Off to see Mum at lunchtime then down to the Big Smoke for the premiere of "A Complete Unknown" later

Icy out this morning but we both took the pup for a wander over the tops so all is good.

I'm being drained again today for the first time in a while, couldn't donate due to ACL stuff. I always try as I'm in the 1% group of AB- so pretty rare (i think it should say unique).

Ferk all riding, running or gyming following the above but hey-ho..

Morning or Afternoon depending on Global Positioning.

Woke. Breakfast. Snooze. Coffee. Prodded student to get him out of bed.

Thick fog here of John Carpenter proportions.

Set up new DECT phones are re-packaged the much more expensive DECT phones for return that I recently bought as they were rubbish!! Both BT products. The Premium kept having issues with the Ansa phone and used up all the space on one short call and wouldn't disconnect from the caller. Cheaper Essential pack (three handsets) is simpler and works.

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Skied a bit hard today so now walking like a constipated penguin. Hotel quite novel as to get to the sauna you have to walk about 50 yards outside, bit on the chilly side. Anyhow, consumed unfeasible amouts of meat at a restaurant that would not please vegetarians.

  • Now in Sydney airport waiting for the final leg, no idea what time of day or night it is elsewhere, but it is morning again.

Saw the sunrise over the clouds from the plane, quite spectacular 👌

  • And so to Christchurch, nove to get some fresh air and stand up.

Weather fairly gloomy but comfortably warm! Off to offsprings house to crash....

You landed in Christchurch on a grey day? Me too. I remember looking down on the approach and thinking: I've travelled 24 hours and it looks like we've arrived in the Borders.
