We had a similar scenario at the last general election here, long term conservative government on the nose with so many scandals etc etc... The Labour Party won convincingly.
Yet here we are a couple years later, and the new lot have hardly covered themselves in any glory, and have categorically failed to deliver on the majority of their key policies. Better, or worse? Will never know, but the reality is that beyond the ideology and marketing spin differences, the actual results are probably pretty much the same.

Afternoon folks, last full day of proper holiday 🙄 Heading up to Verona tomorrow morning to see family then head for home Sunday morning. I could do with another couple of weeks here really.
Not being as corrupt would certainly be a start, not expecting any great things given the state of the country, but any improvement would be welcome.

Nice day spent at a theme park with the boys, at an age now where they aren’t too unpleasant to be around. The way they singled out and doubled teamed a fast track ticket holder for some brutal treatment on the bumper cars was very Kray twins-esque. Proud moment.
