Yep. But so far, they seem okay. Not a patch on our previous lot. In fact, we are discussing heavy handed moderation and the site failure of BR on Cycle Chat right now. No mods in the politics section 😁

Thanks for the nod Brian. Let's face it, the forum died a few years ago and has limped along with half a dozen middle class professional types mostly agreeing with each other in Cake Stop. My self imposed exile came because I became sick of being sneered at for disagreeing with the received wisdom on our national response to the pandemic. Apparently anyone who challenged the consensus must be a follower of David Icke and can thus be ignored, marginalised or put in a box marked "nutter". Call it a false f!ounce of you like. Props to Stevo for sticking it out so long. Good job they got rid of The Big Girls thread eh lads?

I would just like to see how he responds to logic and evidence. It always amazes me when you have conspiracy theorists and UFO spotters and ghost hunters and god fearers what shyte they come up with.
My own brother (hippie) was bought by the Hegseth diatribe in Munich. My own brother! He's now sending me emails saying he's so worried about the future of the UK. Seemingly, we are being taken over by Asian sex grooming gangs. And he will not listen to the contrary regardless of what you put in front of him. Apparently - when I quoted the Guardian exclaiming the original pressure by the Labour govt. to hold a pubic enquiry to the grooming gangs scandal and then the subsequent recommendations to the then Tory administration being ignored completely by the then Tory administration... wait for it. The Guardian is a Woke newspaper owned by a man who is pushing leftist propaganda! So he wouldn't even read it in the first place and then comes back to me with yet another email saying why aren't we holding a public enquiry?. He thinks that bombing the 'boat people' (crossing the channel) would put them off.
If he keeps hollering fascistic sh*t, I may be spamming his emails. If my mother was alive, she would be horrified by his new perspective. He does go to the US on 'peace missions' and I did ask the question if he was involved with the Christian Nationalists to which he has yet to answer.
