Waterproof Overshoes

Hi - I have just installed some Shimano SPD pedals on my touring bike and also purchased some 'trainer' style Shimano shoes which take the approprate cleats. However, until now I hadn't thought about what I can use for overshoes when I am touring.
The overshoes I use with my Sidi road shoes will not fit as the new Shimano shoes are too bulky. can anyone please infom me what they do in wet weather and possibly make any suggestions for some I might purchaser? It would be much appreciated.

Generally MTB shoes require a neoprene velcro up the back overshoe, and most things with zips are too tight a fit.

Personally, I take advantage of the fact that skin is waterproof, and use SPD Sandals with no socks.
The sandals soak up very little water and dry off pretty quickly.
The advantage for touring is that you don't need to carry socks or alternative evening footwear. I've not found cold feet to be a problem either, probably because the foot isn't compressed so much and the blood circulates better.

I have found DHB XL overshoes go over my MTB shoes size 10. Just seem to need at least one size up in overshoe.1

Many thanks to all for the very helpful comments. Clearly there are several different options. I'll have a look at all of them and then make a decision. Cheers.0
