Purple jerseys

Greetings,

my favourite jersey manufacturers tend to be in no particular order.

Castelli
Ale
Rapha

My new gravel bike, that I thought was plain green, lo and behold has a very nice (in my opinion) purple flip in it, so I was considering getting some purple attire.

I'm not wed to the above brands, though I know they tend to fit me the best.

It's the darker range of purple I am after.

Does anyone have any suggestions for either SS or LS jerseys, probably not so bothered about the super light climber style jerseys, more the standard or thicker jerseys if possible.

*I've already bought a 'few' green clothing articles.......

First thought was the Burgos BH jersey but you'd probably want green trim instead of red.

That's exactly the kind of purple indeed, but yes additional trim would need to be black, yellow or green :-)

I am currently sitting in a Cafe wearing my rather excellent DHB Aeron Lab jersey which might say it is Burgundy, but looks purple to me. See also the Ultralight in "Port Royale" (a different shade of purple) currently on sale at £54.

Aeron Lab is a cut above regular DHB, don't worry it's a "value brand", it's as good as anything else I have.

Big Isadore fan, have a couple of their climbers merino wool jerseys, and they are super lush - just that bit more capable of handling a wider temp range that your average technical jersey.

Also forgot completely about Pedal Mafia, which is one of my faves.

Have taken a punt on these so far - unlikely to keep them all.

Spatz one which I literally stumbled on, about half price, suspect it will be too large:

I've got a normal "Aeron" level DHB one from a couple of seasons ago.

One of my favourite jerseys because of the colour.

They also do one this season too.

Just to update - from the above jerseys, I kept 2, 3 & 5.

Also recieved the LS version of the Endura jersey no 5 today, and it's sublime, fit and quality wise, so a definite keeper.


Finally I ordered this black sheep jersey at around 65% off, and that will probably do for my purple jersey stash.


As the bike is green with a purple flip, it should be about perfect.
