Bah, up too early on a weekend. Why did I book a physio session for 9am? Walk hounds later then haircut and enjoy the weather hopefully.

We shall say farewell to this lovely rolling land of wayay,
we shall lament the cold Tyne for she is beautiful but fickle
we shall remember the Malbec and thank France and the EU
we shall recall the discovery of certain muscular groups whilst jumping on springy stuff
we shall look forward to home comforts* and being in the service of Beans the cat.

*I shall look forward to some Carbon bars and stem on the C60. Wahey. If sungod could just lend me his wheels for a week or so...

Already north of 20C, but I'm determined to get out for a ride within the next 30mins, instead of typically leaving it until after dinner... A visitor to home that I have absolutely no time for these days (llord) is good motivation!

Bike rided. As sungod says, was a bit gloomier than I expected. Family duties, low level drinking and prep for beach tomorrow.

Bike ride tomorrow for me. Maybe Chertsey, maybe Windsor, depends on the legs.

    Today tdf, fettling, mooching, grilling.

Day of faffing about in the shed again, not much else worth doing anyway given the showers and breeze about.

Had to move all the boxes of bike spares to shift the shelving about. Blimey, there's a lot I'd forgotten I have...

    Afternoon folks,
Currently on a train into the smoke to meet one of my Canadanadian cousins and family. Going to amble along the South Bank and act like tourists.
