Saturday is lacking sleep. Could've done with a decent kip.

Was forecasting scorchio here (kinda) but it's updated and now it's not. Nothing planned for today though in any case.

Was forecast nice in Dorset which suits me as I race ok in the heat, but nope now taking a full race pack with waterproofs etc 🙄

Drank too much last night with my pal and then the current wife decided to snore all night, ferkin knackered.

Post race is beers, so all good

Bit soggy this morning until now because the sun has popped out.
Beans to cat hotel first and then heading east (way past Fort Loon) to wayay land. Should be fun.

Def lacking scorchio. Though nose not yet been past the door. Looong sleep, must have needed it. Best think about getting up, before noon at least. Looks like another day of Sorting Stuff. I will from my elevated tower monitor the easterly route for irresponsible drivers of German cars.

Traditional weekend lie in done, transported daughter to translation as she's headed up into The Smoke for the day, dropped parcels at one of those locker things, bought stuff from supermarket. Now need to assemble latest furniture purchases by Mrs. 666 :/

Our Ukrainian house guest to be is no more as she somehow got a job with the Army up in the North East with free accommodation thrown in so we're back to square one. Suppose this is an opportunity to get a better looking one o:) , though no doubt Mrs 666 would veto on the grounds of incompatibility or some rubbish excuse...

    Have a good holiday Pinno.

Denmark looks nice on the tdf. Racing isn't up to much yet, though they're about to hit a 20km long exposed bridge.

Where are you holidaying Pinno? NE England?

Evening folks, sorry but I've been hogging all the scorchio. Left Tuscany in glorious sunshine this morning, now in Verona. Even hotter here. Went for a stroll with big sister and had a coffee. Bought some plonk and other stuff in the supermarket. Out for pizza with lots of family this evening. Should be fun. Saw this Bottechia in town, not very racy.

    Yes (again).

Deep in Northumbrialandshire. It's a gorgeous cottage.
Right now sipping a Malbec reserve. Bit too much tannin for me but it is palatable. Glass of water to hand.

Tonight is Chicken with mascarpone (pre-prepared in Jockland).
Dropped Beans off to at the cat hotel. Don't think he is happy with me.

Surveyed the bridge and the jump off it into the Tyne.
Water not as cold as anticipated. Might be all systems go...

I was meant to go to deepest Northumbrialandshire with my brother and family for May half term, but I ended up in Tokyo.

Sounds like you found the scorchio.

It's been lovely here all day, as expected given it was forecasting rain and I'd planned a day at home resting my foot.

Prolly drowned it in the booze.

10 day forecast says semi scorchio down here.

Someone's stopped and uploaded his Strava at least, although his watch does that for him when he topples over anyway.
