Garmin edge 830

What’s a good price to pick one of these up? Unit? Bundle? Seems £300 ish for the unit is the best price at present, £350 for the bundle.

I’m not in a rush if they’re likely to be cheaper at a certain time of year but doubt they would be.

Yeah, sounds about right. You do occasionally get an offer so might be worth waiting and watching as your not in a hurry
    (https://www.idealo.co.uk/compare/6544669/garmin-edge-830.html) for example.

If you’re not bothered about the touch-screen and are alright with buttons the 530 might be worth looking at, around 100 pounds cheaper than the 830

I've an older 820 and TBH I'd rather anything that didn't have a touch screen. It's OK sometimes in the summer with fingerless mitts but any other time it's a right royal PITA! I'm considering up/down grading to a 530 instead.

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

If you know and trust someone enough who has access to Blue Light(Emergency services) or DDS (HM Forces) discount schemes the 830 is available for £262

I'm assuming on the BlueLight as they normally mirror the DDS ones. I have confirmed the DDS price.

I have both and the 820 is garbage compared to the 830. I love the touchscreen on the 830 and it's much easier to use than the 530 because of it. Just don't put a screen protector on it as it totally wrecks the sensitivity and makes it useless in the wet.
