im looking at doing some refurbs on my frame. its a good 10 years old now (I bought it 5 years old).

she is looking quite tired now and I do think after browsing the bike market that id rather give her some love then spending on a new bike.

so im looking for any advice, experience and recommendations!
I am a little torn on just having her refinished or painted....even a wrap as I recently saw a bike that was wrapped and looked great. I am in East Yorkshire so within a couple of hours drive would be ideal.

oh I will add, she is an enigma esprit.

Really easy to do it yourself, strip the bike, get some Scotch Brite fine grade pads and brush away (in one direction only), it'll look like new in no time at all.

    Plenty of videos on Youtube.

As above. Scotch brite pads are all you need. My suggestion would be to spray on something like WD40 or GT85 first, then get rubbing. Brings it up nice.

Out of interest, is there anyone in the UK who would do a bead blasted/polished logo finish for a trusty steed?

I've never used them but have read good things about this company: https://argoscycles.com/

It might be worth giving them a ring?

Not really going to get the polished or anodized logo finish I would be after.

It's hypothetical, I just wanted an excuse to refer to the trust steed, the old girl, she's a beauty and all of that bollocks. Rather than a gender neutral inanimate object.
