Turbid Tuesday

Morning Sleepy heads.
WFW and slowly recovering manflu.
Liking the look of Stevo,s possible new cave. He could install MF in the garage come man cave as his personal bodyguard.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Yes, it would make up for the lack of drawbridge and pillbox on this one.

    Back to WFW.
    Might pedal part way
    Maybe yoga later

    WFH without the veterinary division.

Later is a rest day so might get the chainsaw out and sort some wood - basically pub avoidance

I'm imagining this as a bit like Inspector Clouseau and Cato.

The man cave definitely has potential. It's wired up as there was a big TV on the wall when we looked at it. And it has sleeping accommodation in the eaves :)

Quick one - is it brake or gear cables that are Campag specific and will get stuck in the shifters if you use the wrong ones - will get proper kosher Campag new ones for final installation, just want to rig up a trial to see if some shifters all work like groovy gravy banananananarama sauce.

    grazie

  • No idea, get Di2 and save the hassle.
    Advocate of disc brakes.
  • Another day of taxi duty. Sigh.

Offloaded some stuff this arvo at least, made a (very) small dent in the pile of building materials in the shed to be disposed of somehow.

More taxi tomorrow, plus supervision of fridge repair tech. May haggle a deal on a car if I can make up my mind. Driven a bunch this last week, some good, some disappointing, plenty of meh.

Also must get ar$e into gear and get prep work sorted for tiler to come out next week and do some more stuff.

Tired, legs ache, and is only first working day of several. Ho hum.

A 'new' thing: this old dear decided to pay me in cash today! Actual ยฃ notes ๐Ÿ˜ณ I would need to check my records, my records that is not the 'public' ones to check but I don't think I've been paid in cash for 10 years or more.

Now what the L do I do with a wad of cash in these contactless times, apart from impersonate a Harry Enfield character?

I did another decent ride today as I am on a bit of a flyer. But i'm farqed. Need more recovery beer and curry. I'm also 62.5kg's. Farq me - one puff of wind and i'll be in Norway*.

*Which on recollection, could be fun.

While youโ€™re in the region you might as well go sub 60kg, might never get the chance again. Then hope for a wind to take you somewhere with good curry.
