Sod it Saturday

Morning All. Last shift ever at the brickyard ever. Dropping management a little bombshell later so luckily don't need a reference or to come back to this role. Dark and damp.

    Drive
    Up a hill
    Shops
    More driving
    More hills
Try not to get too wet or struck by lightning

That's the plan anyway, might not work out.

Hounds, run and then a long paddle down the river with a pal, few pubs and cans along the way - should be fun

Big bomb Oxo. Go on, go on, go on. Seize the opportunity, you may never have another chance. Etc etc.

Boring grey day out there. Bit of fettling to do. Get some sort of ride in sometime. Bring me sunshine.

    What will that achieve exactly?

Not too bad here. Judging by the forecast, we're going to get the least bad weather.
Toots are off and I will have time to do what I like (after a few chores).

Just a walking the dawgs - soon. Had a lie in after staying up a bit late to watch the Olympics.

    Then more sorting etc.

Regarding bomb dropping, he will either realise what a twunt he's been and sort out the toxicity he's caused or the people above will. Sadly for him he doesn't realise I have friends in higher places than himself, they don't me to leave. I have agreed to advise them on some issues regarding recruitment and engineer retention that they can't get their head around at the moment. Morning folks,
Traditional slow start was enjoyed, should probably make some coffee soon. Neighbours had packed the car and gone away Thursday so was looking forward to peace and quiet this weekend. Unfortunately they came back yesterday although there hasn't been too much screaming so far. I suspect he left the harridan somewhere, in a ditch with any luck.
Is Piña going to get a ouija board out to continue his attempts at resurrection? Although some of them are still posting on occasion.
I don't think Oxo's bombshell was declaring his undying love for his manager then.
Dull and grey here, the weather as well as me, pottering to be done.

Slack Saturday indeed. Messed about with fixing some cables on the hifi in the living room. Visited Mum for a cup of tea this afternoon.

    That was it.

Sounds like our place but we keep being told we can do more with less

Had a nice day driving round Shropshire and going up and down lots of hills (on foot unfortunately).
Some weird people in that part of the world, and that's coming from me.

Saw some nice baps near Ludlow but her horse wouldn't let me take and photos for you lot.

Talking of weird people saw a strange one as I was walking back from the old dear's. Van parked with the back doors open, bloke stood between the doors looking at his phone. Nothing too strange it would seem, but his trousers were round his ankles and his censored was hanging out, no undercrackers. I'm walking by thinking that's a bit strange, just keep walking, he turns and looks at me and gives a little nod by way of greeting. I tend to walk quite fast anyway, but I'm pretty sure I sped up at that point.

Wonder if it's a new sport: there was a big bald? naked guy walking around by his car a few months ago when I rode past. He was a bit more ashamed about being spotted though and tried to hide in his car when he saw me - maybe I'm just not his type.

Is it a rising cult thing? I saw a pic posted recently on that farcebork of a naked overweight 50-60yo white bloke walking on the Ridgeway near here. Given the Ridgeway is a historical byway route well used by walkers, cyclists, and even in some parts in summer months by powered vee-hickles, one has to ask 'Why?' Plus those pesky horseflies aka clegs are active...
