Shoe fitting

Local bike shop has very little stock of road shoes so I'm gonna have to order online, so what other brand of cycling shoes has a similar fitting to Shimano?

I've gone from Shimano to Giro (lace ups) same size and they both fit ok. Possibly the Giro are slightly more snug than some Shimano - ie my Shimano MTB shoes are a bit looser - but similar to a pair of highish end road Shimano shoes I had.
