Musk/SpaceX must be literally over the Moon, no more FAA hold ups.

More over the moon at getting more funding.

If it wasn't for SpaceX the USA would still be going to Russia for their rockets. Boeing received double the amount of money because of government Lobbying and that fooker is still stuck in space!
Anyway, let's try and keep this a positive thread.

I'm happy to keep it positive. From the moment you stop banging on about the muskrat.

This thread is about space though and he's reigniting Humanities ability to explore it. He deserves credit, which is sadly lacking here. Also, I always refer to SpaceX.

if it's so great, why isn't musk living up there

When is he going on a permanent basis?

I think Boeing clearly needed some competition 🤨 and the attempts to make the whole process slightly more cost effective are welcome. Let's just get a bit of perspective though. SpaceX still benefits from massive public investment. It's not some plucky entrepreneur going it alone.

Yep, competition is a great thing to push things forward, good point. Blue Origin too, it's got to help.
I think that was the idea behind both Tesla and SpaceX to get things moving. Get the competition going.
I would love to see how other Planets intelligent matter has evolved/evolves, not to mention our own.
It will be incredible when SpaceX can start to make rocket turnarounds as quickly as commercial flights.

The idea behind Tesla was from Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Musk was a buy in/take over.

Current thinking is that it's so rare as to be effectively non-existent or so widely dispersed as to be physically impossible to visit.

Yeah, funnily enough the Brain Cox interview above covers it. I would love to see it though at different evolutionary stages.

Was it a production car at that point, blimey if you want to go down that route I'm surprised you didn't mention milk floats.
Again though, I'm not really interested in petty point scoring here. It seems relatively inconsequential given the topic.

Would be fascinating but we are not going to. None of us.

Oh yeah of course. Look at what Humanity has found out though.

You raised the topic.
