Early start today purely because there’s a task I’d forgotten to do at work last week that has a deadline of today. Going to be another busy day. First interview of what will be my doctoral thesis this afternoon.

Had a quick look at that, the mods don't start work early on a Monday by the look of it. Ironically the bloke earned a badge for uploading an avatar and 'making the forum a better place'.

Usual round of work stuff today, but it's a short week as I'm taking a couple of half days at end of the week to use up some holiday that'll get lost otherwise.

Anyway its Monday Sky colour is Royal Navy Light Grey 1 I think today.
Had some good news on a slight role change at work moving more toward being an IT nerd again, means I loose the minion pool but that means less stress and less paperwork so I'd call that a win?

just sent email pulling out of new job which i am totally utterly gutted about - last feedback i had from them was "we need you more than you need us" and that with my background they weren't even sure why i was being interviewed.

totally and utterly gutted.

however, onwards and upwards otherwise we end up like Mad Tone.

Well everyone suggested to him that he change his password to something he can't remember, then he won't be able to get on the forum again but he didn't seem to be able to do that, so wondered if he needed some help

Currently sat in a MS Teams meeting, with baby poo all over my trousers as I had baby sat on my lap at the start of the meeting and it exploded out of the nappy, through the vest, babygrow and onto my trousers.

Morning folks,
Busy start to the week so I put the brakes on and decided to havea cuppa. Computer system is still as crazy as the former forumite known as Batshit Tony. A very strange weekend HD, some guy went doolally in Road General after people pointed out his mistakes and started calling everyone admin C**** and such like. Quite amusing in a slow motion car crash kind if way initially, then it got tedious and the realisation that he is actually in need of a mental health professional. Be glad you have a life, unlike that bloke.
Anyway, glad he's gone.
Off to the old dear's later as someone needs to be around when she gets back from the hospital. But they've told her she has to isolate for 14 days. I'm going with the former as that seems more important, finding out there was a problem 14 days later would'nt be a good thing.
Sorry to hear you had to back out MFs. Smash something and burn it with fire.

Really rather nice Monday, even if I spent a fair chunk of it swinging a splitting axe on the few ton of firewood dumped on the driveway. Will borrow a hydraulic splitter I think for the main pile.

Sorry Mr GTi, couldn't resist the obvious joke. Unfortunately I got kicked out of the maths class with a good teacher for laughing in his face when he was shouting at me and I'm still bitter.
It wasn't my fault honest. He'd shaved off this huge bushy beard he'd had for years, as he was shouting at me I could see all the rest of the class behind him rubbing their chins.
