Simply Friday

Evening / Morning All. Alcohol consumed and currently binge watching tv that I've recorded over the week. Off work till Tuesday, wahay. Taking mutley to the vets for an xray to see why his bag legs aren't 100%. Currently like a landrover offroading with only 2 wheel drive. Hopefully nothing to sinister. Enjoy th upcoming wkend all.

Now @oxo and @pinno. Two days running we’ve had daily threads posted at just after midnight. You both know the rules regarding daily threads and not starting a thread until it’s generally considered to be morning.
I’d prefer not to dish out the ban stick so consider this a friendly warning ⚠️

Mr S🖕. I'm afraid some of us had actually slept and woke up at admittedly a slightly early time. Usually awake for 4am, so only a little earlier. Plus looming vets bill is giving me nightmares. Suspect it's going to hurt even after pet insurance contributions. Will hopefully know results later today.

Xxxx, pissing it down here, again. Forecast to stop mid morning, so maybe just maybe it will to enable a first pootle of the week. No enthusiasm for heading out knowing will get soaked.

Better pay the tax bill. Boooooo.

    What a day.

    Dear Mr S

I have been busy of late. I have Toots to school and I am working on a rather complex Lego ball contraption which is quite unique. With a bit of luck, i'll have build instructions for it.
Then people will pay for the pdf or Zip file document download instructions - which will be available on Planet GBC for a very reasonable price as soon as they are compiled..
See if you can work this one out Oxo:

Plus there is indoor pedalling and some core stability work to fit in through the day and every other day, I make bread.

I only have time to post at each end of the day, as opposed to Cargo Bike, who has time to post all the time except on Wednesdays when he has to sign on. Oh and Tuesdays where he has to see his (new male) shrink ('cos he kept on making advances to the previous female shrink - you know, tongue out, dribbling - that sort of thing). He does however, spend quite a bit of time cutting pictures out of magazines.

So I protest about da roolz as they are discriminatory. There's more of a chance of a Chelsea manager lasting longer than 2 seasons of me being awake at unsungodly hour.

Looking forward to a reply at your earliest possible convenience.

    Dearest Pinno

Thank you for your long winded excuse.

My heart bleeds for your cozy retired hardship. I didn’t realise you had to plan all the lessons yourself. I assumed the toots would log on and follow the home learning schedule like every other child in Britain.

If the ladies in your household have banned you from posting at certain times of the day then fair enough. Otherwise, with the greatest respect and affection. BALLS!

Luckily I'm a bean counter, so it was no surprise, and I squirrelled it away.

Stopped raining, forecast was correct. Sun is out. Will leave it a couple of hours to let things dry off a bit before getting a bike out of the garage for the 1st time since last Friday.... I don't like winter, go away.

I feel for you H3. I got a similar request earlier this month from Her Majesty's Highwaymen. Could have been worse if they hadn't raised the pension tapering limits.

Couldn't be bothered getting up Lie in, WFH, run to get parcel, more WFH, online fiteness class/banter later if Zoom doesn't go belly up again.
Wasted all morning trying to do something the "proper" way and couldn't get it to work. Just done it the usual way and it's only taken 45 minutes.

There was a bloke at my last job, reckoned he could eat a mixed box of 12 in one sitting. He started well enough, but quickly slowed as the sheer sweetness kicked in. He managed 8 before turning green and throwing in the towel.

I won the M&S cream sponge eating challenge a few years ago.

    It's, oh, so quiet
    It's, oh, so still
    You're all alone
    And so peaceful until...
    You ring the bell

Finally got the mojo to get out there, about 45 mins to get the legs to stop moaning and then... nice time. Lots of gloop of course, but rel quiet. Now feeling much happier. As Vincent Vega might say, exercise is goood.
