    Morning
Glorious here. Had a lie in though.
Might go for an outside pedal if it stays like this.
  • Cold but damp up here, got the bratz tonight so might get an hour on the turbo if time permits.

Glad I was a bit late leaving the house on the bike as the downpour just finished as I got out the front door. Got caught in Central London though.

Work, coffee, quick trip to the dentist, scoff large amounts of food followed by more work and maybe a spot of online shopping. Plus cider later :)

Morning from the distant lands of Heck, I had planned a trip to the Norse Colonies but Boris pout pay to that.
Not been on much what have I missed? SG found a stray colony of Pineapples to save over winter?

The pineapples have been self-isolating. But Seano has reappeared after a long absence, he just missed us too much.

    Where is SG?

    Hullo Step!

Trying to find a large magnet to slow my meter down. Seems to be the way.

Tomorrow will be sealing UPVC up a big ladder seen as the forecast is good which means no pedalling which means indoor pedalling (again) today instead. I'm bored just thinking about it.

In other news, got my online tax return in on the 31st. Wahey. Hate that process.
Now listing ALL expenses on a ss. F*ck 'em.

  • Warm day, and a little breezy but still pretty pleasant. Less so was the prescribed task list for the day which involved raking and shovelling gravel out of an old pathway to be re-used elsewhere.

Swapped handlebar over on a bike for one with a bit more sweep/rise, but no time to give it a test ride. Washed car which was absolutely filthy, and that now guarantees rain in the next couple of days.

  • Pleasant ride in the dark for an early start to work, dry with a light breeze. Came home on wet roads it having rained while at work. Gonna have a cuppa, then I’ll have to work out if I need to shop or maybe even have a ride cos the sun is out, I do hope it stays out.
    Tis still cooool though
Not sure if the pub is a good idea later, don't want covid, maybe just tomorrow eh!
  • Eurgh!!
CB and OH drank all the different half finished bottles of gin last night to make room for the new bottles that were residing all over the kitchen work surfaces, taking up cooking space.

This was afer spending far too long in the pub prior to these shenanigans. How I got up for work on less than 3 hours sleep is anybodies guess, but sometimes these things just have to be done.

Having a quiet day WFH, (lazing in bed) before going out and doing it all over again later, although the gin is unlikely to take a battering as OH is working tomorrow night.

    We'll see......

Bought a vegan sausage roll this morning, filled with planet saving optimism😃 But as the first revolting mouthful was spat into the bin I realised we’re all [email protected]

Afternoon all. Mundane mundane followed by tedious monotony.

Might have a little tinker with the wife’s favourite oil painting later. It’s been bugging me for two years. Little touch up here and there, I’m sure I could do a better job as I almost passed GCSE art. Just have to sneak it out of the room without her noticing.

    From where?

Some of them are really pretty good. The "meat" in sausage rolls from some of the cheaper places isn't particularly pleasant either.

    Afternoon folks,
Another busy day of wfh home and trying not to smite idiots. Not that I can do smiting, that would be cool.
Just been for a run which was rubbish, not sure why. Ankle had been playing up so I avoided running for a couple of weeks, it hasn't got any easier. Riding a bike still uncomfortable but I can manage short distances. Need to keep spanking the monkey to get strength back in my wrist. I got told off by a nurse for doing that once, I asked if it was because it causes blindness. She said no just because I'm trying to examine you.
Gregg's vegan sausage rolls taste a lot like the normal ones, I think that says more about the meat content of the normal ones than anything else.
Round to the old dear's tonight as I've booked a slot at the tip for tomorrow morning assuming they will have to shut after that.
Good to see Step back, what's happened to SG? Has he gone into hibernation until spring?

I did an experiment late last year to see and had one of each from Gregg's. The meaty one was better but the vegan one wasn't too bad. Definitely didn't save the planet though as I drove there

I agree. A proper sausage roll from a local bakery usually tastes miles better than both.

He said something about stimulating the economy in Mayfair the other day.
