    Yeah, as we saw with the same three at the end they could have got the gap and had a very evenly matched sprint. Dowsett leaving the little gap on the corner was a smart move but I thought someone would have been ready for the counter when Brandle was caught.

    I thought that when Dowsett went he sort of telegraphed it abit and wasn’t moving that fast. However next thing he had about 20 seconds which by then it was a bit too late for rest of the break.

    That just made me a nervous wreck watching the final laps. Well done to a guy who is a dedicated and generous pro imho. One of the few good things to happen this year.

    Interesting. I'd expected to see the power in that final 10k or so being noticeably higher than the rest of the ride. I also thought it would be more even throughout the rest of the ride.
