I’ve got this. It works great.0 -
The PlanetX copies of the Zecto drive are ok.
It ends up being expensive if you only order 1 light due to P&P though.
It was fine for seeing where I was going the other night, up to about 15mph although there was no other traffic to destroy my night vision.0 -
I’ve got some Cateye rapid X2s the front one sits on my headtube (I looped both straps together) so I don’t have anything on my bars (or can run bigger lights too in the winter) they’re stupidly bright, cheap and the rechargeable battery lasts for ages.Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame

Exposure Trace and TraceR bundle is the best value.
Brilliantly powerful little lights0 -
The white https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/LIPHSOFL/planet-x-strap-on-led-light bailed me out last night, when my Aldi version(?) of https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/LIJOCANO/jobsworth-canopus-usb-rechargeable-light died on me (because I hadn't charged it since returning from Prestatyn) ~20mins from home last night.
Takes 2x CR2032 batteries (so could be handy spares if your hrm or 4iiii power meter battery dies).
https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/LIJOSILFRRE/jobsworth-silicone-3w-front-rechargeable looks a more modern version of it with built in rechargeable battery, or there's a cheaper version https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/LIJOSILFRAAA/jobsworth-silicone-3w-front-aaa that takes AAA batteries.================

I've been using one of these for the past few years as a 'be seen' light. It's tiny, takes up almost no handlebar space, but still puts out a decent, daytime visible flash.
I'll usually get around 4.5 hours (flashing) out of a charge, with a small red warning dot to indicate when you have about an hour left - I've had issues before with lights that only give you a warning about 5 minutes before they die!
Full beam isn't enough to properly ride unlit roads by (although more powerful than you would expect for it's size), but it will do in a pinch if you're caught out on a long ride and heading home around dusk.

I've just got a nice little Giant Recon HL100 which you can get a fitting kit for to put on the underside of your out front mount (if you use one) to keep things neat and tidy.
Quite similar to the Bontrager Ion mentioned above, but I think battery life is better and there are more mounting options.
They also do a HL200 if you want a bit more light.0 -

I carry a Sigma Sportster as a back up light on longer night rides. It's small and light but the beam is 'street legal' so it could also be used on unlit roads if needed.0
