bellatisport, dream bikes

Ok I just found this shop today and my goodness
My research on them is limited, they have been going for 10+ years.
I could get my dream bike off there but have doubts abot VAT and import duties from switz to UK.

You’ll be charged all the UK taxes, duties, plus delivery costs.

You could go on a cycling holiday and come back with a heavier bike box.
A friend of mine did that with a snowboard from the States back in the day. 😉
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I’ve ordered from Bellatisport before, great place to deal with. I had to pay for postage but no VAT or duties, might of been lucky.

They do stock a lot of brands but it's not like you can't buy those brands from other shops ? Like in the UK ?

There are bargains to be had?
    A Cinelli Superstar Disc di2 2020 for £3210?

I'd do this. Pay enough bloody tax in this country as it is.

An alternative view if the OP doesn’t get back is that it is a promo post.

Have you never bought anything on holiday abroad and brought it home?

  • Not if they are under your import limit. £60 pa isn't it?
Now how did I get my Chris King hubs into the UK without paying tax?
