Disc brakes & Electric shifters - what to buy?

I currently ride a Bianchi Intenso with stock wheels, calliper brakes. Love it. Have ridden it in the alps and done the raid Pyrenees. I’m looking to buy a new bike to gain disc brakes and electronics shifters. My usual rides are 70-150km and I do an annual trip abroad so need to be able to put it in a case.
What would people recommend I look at?

Tarmac Comp Di2 is a good safe bet.1

Factor has some amazing deals on their O2 at present as they are replacing it. It doesn't come with wheels which is a big bonus because you can buy a decent set and with discs, they are for life.
I do have Di2 Ultegra Disc and just recently I built an Italian dream bike with Chorus 12 speed disc. Personally, the manual Chorus trumps it. Much better hood ergonomics, much faster downshifting, better modulation and even more flexible gear shifts.
However, you are not going to be disappointed with Di2. It is a case of the difference between excellence and perfection.1
