Why can’t you find a source that is written by somebody with an IQ in double figures. I know, I know here he goes again but FFS how can anybody who can tie their own shoelaces read this and not get angry?

The education system is fvcked not so much because people don’t know dates but they have lost the power of reason. WTF would Hitler have launched the Blitz when he was still fighting us and the French in France?

And that is skipping over the fact that C-19 has killed more British people than the Blitz, far less those killed elsewhere in Europe were a magnitude higher.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

What's really ironic is that Coopster's favourite journo Andrew Neil has been giving a tweet by tweet history lesson on WW2 to all and sundry on Twitter today 😏

    No

What's really ironic is that Laura K is currently tweeting as the Downing St 'Source' rebuttal unit.

My classes groan whenever Mr B starts going on about keyboard shortcuts again.
Actually at home I have one of my mouse buttons (fancy mouse with lots of them) set so I can do ctrl+scroll with one hand, which I certainly do regularly when using Chrome.

The point was that the resolution of the original screenshot is very low - of course you can read it but hey, this is cake stop so i felt like having a dig

How can he be so ignorant of the fact that the British govt had been rearming for several years and that the Spitfire first flew in 1936. There was never a shortage of Spitfires at the start of the conflict.

    It's a joke
If it was a good joke I would forgive it but it is a lame joke levered into ignorance.

It should have used V1 instead of Spitfire
If you want to upset the apple cart some more just query the amount of foreign Spitfire pilots.

But without them they would never have been able to manipulate the stats to claim they only took on poshos
Oh, and by the way. Hurricanes.
ahh the mythical second plane that the illuminati claim did all the work, I bet you are one of those people who think man landed on the moon. I suppose they gave them the same engine so they all sounded the same
I was told by an old RAF person that Hurricanes were there to shoot down bombers whilst Spitfires were there to deal with the fighter escorts.

A tad simplistic but they were a better gun platform than the Spitfire so all else being equal it would have been a good strategy
