    Me too! Best get the gears sorted on my bike (increasong the rear cassette) and get some miles in before the big day.

    One day I'll sign up again... it is a glorious ride... problem is a trip to the lakes has to involve the wife, which means it has to cost a fortune... on top of that the FWH is only worth bothering if the weather is good... going down Hardknott and Wrynose on wet roads is really not that much fun
