Planet X Das Boot

Long shot, anybody got the planet x sod Das Boot. Thoughts on quality and sizing sought. Thinking of a pair for local XC / CX riding I do at this time of year and to save my overshoes getting wrecked to quickly. Cheers.

For the last few years, I keep wondering about a pair of winter shoes for commuting that might also help to get me out at other times too, wondering about these Das Boots of late. My problem is, there is always other bike stuff I want/need and with little disposable income compared to many, the winter shoes keep getting put on hold.

I got a pair. So warm, so comfy, so waterproof. I wear them in the autumn now just to keep toastie. Admittedly they look a bit bootie and the velcro/neoprene round the ankle is comfy and unnoticeable but i guess it wouldnt keep the wet out if it sprayed up your shins and dripped into your boot. however for the money they are proper warm and toastie. Im a size 9/43 in a shoe /trainer but i always buy a 10/44 in cycling shoes and these fit very well in the 44.

I bought a pair of the MTB ones last winter, had to send 43s back for my ~27.5cm feet and get 44s, which fit great.

Just like the Magma jacket, they are very temperature adaptable, I worn them whenever the temp has been below ~7C in the morning and/or we are forecast significant rain on work days.
