Just taken delivery of a Ribble CGR - which looks a very nice bike - one question is that the through axle doesn't have a lever - so it looks like I need a tool to remove the wheel which I don't appear to have - can anybody tell me how would remove the wheel ?

Is it not just a 5mm or 6mm Allen key that is required?Got a place in the Pyrenees.

Yes Ribble have just called - and confirmed what u have just said. As someone who drives his bike to ride it weekly, thats a real ball ache - anyone know what I could buy so I have a through axle with a lever ?manoirdelourde said:Is it not just a 5mm or 6mm Allen key that is required?

Standard 5mm hex key on my Cube, needed for lots of common tweaks except stem clamp and pedals.================

I always carry a multi tool anyway and they only take a few seconds to undo . . . or just carry one of these if it is 6mm.

I also have a multitool with me but it's annoying to take it out most of the time. I bought this: https://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;product=203192;menu=1000,4,171;mid[69]=1;pgc[19312]=19318 in 100mm, u replace the front axle and u can take the tool out for the rear wheel!Rose X-Lite Six Ultegra DI2
