The French commentator's pronunciation of 'Pidcock' has me giggling.
  • Disc brakes adding crucial seconds to wheel changes.
  • Peloton fully stretched out. Not a single rider abreast.

No Ta Doctor's man Mikkel Bjerg punctures.
  • Is that the waterfall the one where the Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves scene was filmed?

Italy need to have a word with their tyre suppliers
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

The change for Konychev was shocking

Indeed. He's looking pretty impressive making his way through the cars.

France and New Zealand helping USA out on the front of the peloton.
  • The fact that I have no idea of the relative strengths of the riders, every breakaway hopeful is a possible in my mind.

    24K to the next climb

Fred Wright on veery narrow bars.

Live on board cams which is quite nice.
I’m watching on BBC but can only imagine that Carlton is going mad at the camera bikes for getting too close to the riders On Eurosport. :)
  • Only criticism of current commentators is they aren't great at describing the landmarks like the TdF regulars are.
  • GB riders not getting musettes?

Fred Wright on veery narrow bars.

    A useful preview here.

Stan Dewulf in the break is picked out as an outsider.

Pidcock is GB's best hope but Fred Wright has won stages at the Tour de l'Avenir and Giro.

Don't know much about any of the others in the break.
  • It is sh!tting it down sideways here.

The commentator reckons Greenhow hill has a maximum gradient of 9% :D

If that's what the riders are expecting they're in for a shock.

It's not a drinking competition, although at U23, theoretically they are uni students.
  • Fred wright stuck in big ring. Looks like a track rider about to start
