Sheesh. Weekend plans involving RnR and biking in warm sunshine thrown into doubt as Mrs O has spent all night with her increasingly frail mother in A&E after paramedics decided she needed to be taken in. She is not a well lady, suspect developing heart failure. Bring on the increased stress levels.

hope all goes well LD & O.

here - TDV has the day off so we may spend the day as a family. having said that, she is currently at her gym and i'm just about to a weights sesh.

also need to look for some tyres and a Rival/whatever the one below Rival is front brake so I can fit 25s to the 1x - current front brake will only allow a 23, but dependant on price I may just stick with the 23s .........

    Synthetic morphine - Oxycodone hydrochloride.

Home yesterday via puke wagon. Just about to phone Doc's and request some Diclofenac 'cos I cannot even drink coffee without feeling nauseous and that is totally unacceptable.

  • Afternoon

Spent all morning doing risk assessments for things that the management were supposed to do, but didn't because they've gone awol. The world's such a dangerous place when you have to think about it and write it down.
Now cracking on with everything else I was supposed to be doing today.

Have you tried a fry up? That usually sorts most things out.

Busy day but we now have three new minions to add to my evil empire (two contractors leaving so we're one up overall). I think I'll bog off home now and have a drink or two, which will be needed as Stropteen is back from her jaunt to Cambridge.

GJNH called me to see how I was (re.: Nausea). Apparently, it's a post Epidural effect.
Was told to either seek anaesthetist at local A & E and get a blood patch or... wait for it 'drink more coffee' as caffeine counter acts the side effects!
I am doing the latter. Guess i'll be posting more bollox till 3am.
Did I tell you I had a long conversation with Jason Roberts, Olympic gold medal winner? And no, it wasn't the morphine.
The long and short of it: Brailsford is Ruthless and Shane Sutton a bully.

Cheers Thistle - I don't know what I would do without your advice.
