Hi all

Want some new QR’s for the bike and was looking at some Shimano ones on the bay. They come as a pair but have different length rear skewers so was just wondering what length for a 130mm standard rear? Looking at Shimano’s website it says 163mm. Is that correct?

?? How they mesure it.?? I know that a quick release (QR) for the rearwheel (caliper brakes) is for a roadbike: 130mm and for a mountainbike: 135mm. But I can be wrong.

That's the distance between the dropouts. The QR needs to be longer.

Yeah, that's the issue. But in that case you can't answer TS question because the length depends of the thickness of the bolt and nut etc. and how they mesure it. I have several QR's and they are all different.
