Compatibility - RS505 & Ultegra R8000 rear mech

I'm in the process of changing my rear sprocket from an 11-28 tooth to 11-34 tooth which requires a medium cage rear mech.

Can anyone confirm that the R8000 rear mech is compatible with Shimano ST-RS505 shifters?

    Definitely yes. Shimano tech docs say yes and I’ve just bought the same combo and it works great. (Had to replace a 5800 rear as I wasn’t getting the full range with it anymore)
