BB 30

Hi,
I have a circa 2013 Boardman Team alloy frame with fsa gossamer chainset.
I think I need to change the BB as it feels gritty and maybe a little noisy.
Only thing is I’m not sure which BB I can get? Do a need an FSA one or can I go for a 68mm Dura Ace which seem reasonably priced at 20 quid on chain reaction. I know I would need special tools but could most likely borrow them from a friend.
Can anyone please identify what I have from the pics and what I need to replace with?
Thanks for any help in advance!

That's a BB30 (which is the title of your post), so a 68mm Shimano BB will not fit. The only straight replacement will be bearings of the same type. You will need to press out the old bearings, before pressing in a new set.0

BB30 and PF30 are two different standards. Your frame appears to be BB30, but worth double checking...0
-
If it is a BB30 it will have circlips inside the Bottom Bracket to hold the bearings in place once pressed in.0

It’s definitely a BB30. Sorry got confused by the reference to push.
Can someone put a link to what I need? I want to have the bits ready when I take the old one off.
Thanks!0 -
In that case, your first link (the wiggle one) is the one you need..0

Brilliant thanks Imposter. Ordered.
Do I need any special tools please.0 -
you will need something to drift the old bearings out, plus a tool to press the new bearings in. Your LBS may already have these tools, which may be another option..0

Here is my first go at a BB30 replacement. The bike is still going on it.Cube Reaction GTC Pro 29 for the lumpy stuff
Cannondale Synapse alloy with 'guards for the winter roads
Fuji Altamira 2.7 for the summer roads
Trek 830 Mountain Track frame turned into a gravel bike - for anywhere & everywhere0 -
You will need a drift to smash out the old bearings, be prepared to t wat your bike harder than you think.
You will need to clean the shell thoroughly.
I’ve had loads of bb and pf30 bikes over the years and I’ve NEVER had a creaky one. I’ve also NEVER greased the shell before installing the bearings. Maybe just coincidence.......
I’ve moved to wheelsmfring though since it’s a more sound solution and allows me to run Shimano without shims.
You will also need a press and the appropriate size drift to press the new bearings in. And a pair of circlip pliers.
If this is unlikely to be something you do regularly and money is tight it might be cheaper to get a lbs to do it. Just make sure the mechanic knows what they’re doing or you’ll get creaky hell. If you’re in Berkshire you can bring it to me and I’ll lend you the tools.0 -
Thanks for the help everyone!0
