Waiting for a go at the velodrome.
Why do they always have football on the Tv's in the cafe and not cycling?
Why doesn't your BC card get you 10% off at the cafe?
There's lots of elderly folk in hi vis coming in and out of the place.

You were wearing hi viz?
Was fast asleep when the alarm went off, and it took me a half a minute to remember what day it was - never mind. Woke myself up with a decent pedal in despite a spot of bad luck at the traffic lights. No meetings this morning but then I have 4 of them 'back to back' until late afternoon - not good. Although to cheer me up the Uberwagon got a good write up in 'Evo' mag. And only 2.5 days in the office this week - the rest of it is in Prague.

Afternoon folks,
Another busy day, rather late lunch as a result. Drove the Mrs in so no wobbling for me today, she's got her first physio session on Wednesday so hoping things improve a bit quicker after that. At least she'll have some idea of how much to push things.
Started chasing the neighbours a bit harder to get the sh!t sorted after their builders have made a mess of my place. I've been far too soft on them until now, other things on my mind. Presenting them with quotes to get things put right was the first step. Party wall surveyor hasn't signed off yet and I'm hoping won't sign off until all is put right. Not sure where I stand legally if I have to resort to small claims court.

I dream of having a garage, so I could have another bike or two, and somewhere to keep my meagre collection of tools, my bottles of lube, my tube of grease, my budget workstand, and my vintage copies of Razzle, a threadbare armchair and a thermos flask.
Unfortunately, there aren't too many houses with garages round here. Well, that's a lie, there are lots on the other side of the railway line, but they all cost well north of what I can afford.
Just in case that's you I can hear scrabbling around under the decking, and not a giant rat, I'll chuck some grub out later, and a couple of tins of spesh.

You might be at V68's. He's only a few miles away. He's got a garage. Mrs V68 makes a mean pecan muffin I believe, so pick some up on the way.
I was worried about that, haven’t been in to the garage today so should check for any hungry MFs. Told the Mrs she was mentioned in despatches, she’s worried now. Told her it was about her muffin and specialist videos and it didn’t seem to help.
Hasn’t made pecan muffins for some time as she’s not been great at standing up of late. Put a request in regardless.

just tell the utterly delightful Mrs V that it all involves the MFs living in her garage and I am sure she will be reassured.

Mrs P is in funny mood. I'm worse.
Jobs to do, some people to meet, phone calls to make and... i'll ditch all of that because I need a pedal.
Laters.

At work or with the first part of the comment?
Same here, 11.30am was pint #1. 10.30pm we left some friends house after pint#lotsandlots.
An 11 hour drinking session is far too much for a school night.

Garage?! Do you think I'm some sort of oligarch?!
