Broken rhs 9 speed record ergopower

Had that horrible crunch sound on the way back from a ride today. The rhs shifter (the main one rather than the thumb) is now hanging somewhat limply but appears still able to shift. Unfortunately (well only for this) I'm out of the UK at the moment, so can't send it off to anyone but my gf is coming our shortly so cd bring a part with her.
Can anyone tell me if this is the part I need (EC-RE137) and whether it is as easy to replace as these guys suggest? If not which part do I need?

Thanks

All you need is remove the brake lever (Knock out the pin) and a fine pair of pliers.
The spring that holds the shifter in lace is a pig to install, unless you have watchmaker's skills.
I thought ALL 9 speed shifters had alloy shifter levers, rather than the more modern censored plastic ones... clearly I was wrong
@Ugo it's an alloy shifter, don't think I mentioned plastic ones? I was thinking of getting the part and then getting a bike shop over here to do the work...
@cycle clinic do you mean a pm here or an actual email? And are you saying that is the correct part (with the ltd. info I've been able to give)?
