Morning. At work doing sweet BA if I can get away with it. Night ride tonight then a few beers.

    Yesterday work snizzle presentations went well, so after a school visit to hear how much the eldest is going to enjoy his ski trip, we went to the local

    Today is WFH

    Morning folks,
    Definitely a bit fresher this morning, drove in and the frost warning light came on. Busy clearing my desk and avoiding customers for the last time.
    I don't think TLW will get much for his liver, I suspect in spite of his recent booze free runs it is beyond salvation. I will be doing my best to pickle my liver tomorrow as I have the day off. We are starting with the Winter Warmer breakfast and it will probably go downhill from there.
    Probably be posting a bit less next week as I have to show willing.

    Headed North after work today so the car is parked down in the basement acting as a decoy for the bike thieves until the traffic clears a bit.

    Could do without the long drive as I ended up doing a late Dad's taxi run for Stropteen who went to a house party last night. Bloody half term hols etc. Inevitably she came out later than agreed although seemingly totally sober. Which was surprising as while waiting for I had a chance to watch the inevitable ambulance turn up to deal with a puking teenager. Followed by the plod for some reason. Don't know why they can't just stick them in the bog to get it all out like we used to do.

    Afternoon. Off to the OH's family tomorrow at 12, tempted to take the morning off too and do a decent ride on the CdF rather than a half day at work. Sunrise in the hills should be excellent tomorrow. This evening shall be spent apologising to my neighbour who's fence I reversed into this morning, regretting not speccing those parking sensors now...

    HaydenM's fiancée is suffering from a long, fathomless list of ailments but he hasn't made the connection that the ailments began and are commensurate with the point of asking her to marry him.
    Stevo has decided that he is too old to be chucking himself at trees and has hung up his off road boots. You know the song "...I fought the tree and the tree won".
    TLW is officially classed as a nutter having attempted suicide and (remarkably) failing when he decided to do 4 consecutive half marathons.
    Thistle tried to do the same by seeing whether his heart would fail (thereby achieving posthumous notoriety) by entering 9 hill climbs.
    Chris Bass showed up out of the blue but tragically, did not come furnished with pics of his sisters norks.
    MF went AWOL regularly then the Government sent him off somewhere as severe boredom (most often) in car parks set in. I can only presume he was given false information, expecting some sort of action, turning up in an estate car.
    Finally, SG has hit a creative black pineapple hole and is often deliberately allowing other users to post the daily whatevs thread first.
    Hoppy has a new job and this was followed quite quickly with the acquisition of a fit, female minion assigned for personal duties. B*stard.

    Sad to hear that there are still no pics of the magnificent Bass norks.
    That's the reason I stopped logging on, I could no longer face the daily disappointment of no pics.
    What happened to PPP, did you move in? Flog it? Rent it out to English missionaries?

    Legislation regarding the correct procurement, transportation, disposal or re-commissioning of waste products is such that it opens the door for administrative requirements to be fulfilled. Some of those requirements are sometimes unique and often transient
    This (is often a PR exercise) but often it is to reduce the cost of safe disposal of waste and in some rare cases, make a profit from it.
    This is where I come in.

    Chief tea maker was my previous manager, I'm trying to get away from him. I make better tea anyway so might revert to making my own for a while. Coffee machine is coming with me.
