    Morning folks,
Last weeks sniffle has developed into full blown man flu, so like any big strong man I've called in sick. Was trying to sort out music for the old man's service at the crem last night, thought Smile by Nat King Cole was perfect. He and the old dear liked him and it's just the right level. Neighbours have bought a new car, I'm worried for the Mini, I doubt the shortarsetwat can even see the roof of it.

Grey and chilly today. Just lit the wood burner. This means trouble; it will soon be too cosy to have any notion of doing anything.
Mate decided to go to work today and didn't bother calling me to say that we wouldn't be removing his kitchen until tomorrow. He had better tread carefully seen as I planned for this or it will be removed very uncarefully.

You could park that mini in the boot of that thing.

    Monsoon is nearly upon us.

    Laters.

Oddly enough I quite fancied insisting on that for my own send off :P What with Strifey being a Catholic and all that, I'd ask them to play the video as well to wind her up properly.

Enjoyed the pedal in but now hungry and still waiting a meeting with the boss has been delayed  Have raided the snack machine to stop me getting too irritable and taking it out on the minions.

It's definitely warmed up here now, warmer outside than inside, especially in the vicinity of M&S who have all the doors open.
We need napping space in the office. A couple of us have already suggested it but it got shot down, like getting some proper bike stands in the car park.
  • in an attempt to alleviate his boredom, MF has just tried to eat a mince and onion pie in one go.

A mince pie and an onion in one go sounds less boring.

Shite weather here, the wind is getting up by the sounds of things. Long drive up to Fort William tomorrow then a night in a hotel. Only site visits of the month and it's monsoon conditions! On the plus side Genesis are sending me a Croix de Fer frame to replace my warranted Equilibrium frame, they have been great about it and my request to switch

    What activity now?!
    Methinks shopping

Weather is calmer now. Damn Helene - it can f*ck off.
Wood burner is cozy, cozy, cozy. Whole house is warm. That's the result of all that insulation I put in.
1 small, 16.5kw wet back burner, a huge, lagged immersion tank, powering 4 radiators and a towel rail.

    Hey presto.

Bloody work. Bloody reasonable and supportive boss. Days are flying by, no time for hoes 'n' blow or hard cryptic puzzles (see if you can guess which took up more of my time). Still home to see mini who is is really excited at having made a pyramid with a mummy and grave goods inside. We're taking her to the British museum on Saturday for more Egyptian inspiration. If I could be arsed to cart my laptop home I'd probably do some work, but luckily it's safely locked to my desk.

its the end of summer so everyone is busy burying their winter food stores and collecting stones to block up the holes in their houses to keep the wind out - not enough time to wait around for a blowie while random people masturbate around you.

bizarrely mf turned up at his last car park of the day only to see a friend of his and some other bloke bundling a suspicious package the same shape as a person into the back of a motor. MF pretended to be posting on here so as to not get involved in these sort of shenanigans again.
