No work here either other than the odd call or email (mostly about porche bits ;) )

Feeling like shoot, must have eatern or caught a bug as spent the night near the toilet and can confirm the sink isn’t close enough to the toilet here :(

in the middle of it got my cycling kit ready, think I may have overestimated how good I would feel today

Cats nd Dogs in NF. Bagels and caffeine before trip to Xch. Tried yesterday but took 40mins to do 6 miles and got nowhere near town centre. Returned home.... ruddy grockles!

    Morning folks,
No hangover this morning, had one beer and went home as I was feeling rough. Out tonight, going to see Slaves live in Kingston with the lad and a few friends. I'll probably have a beer and I'm sure it will be loud. Not the kind of thing Stevo's Stropteen would go for I suspect.
Cloudy for the wobble in and a touch blowy, now it's persisiting down rather heavily. Deep joy. Need to go out and buy cakes soon, woohoo!
    Onwards and upwards...

Rubbish day at work now over, sitting in airport with a glass of Plonque awaiting the arrival of "dinner".

Waiting being the key word...

is dinner one of those pies rumoured to contain paddy moriarty (and his dog)?

T'noon, heavily moist this morning, still doing it now. Drove in due to an interview after work which could prove very interesting.
Hoping it stops with this failing moisture lark I agreed to do some marshalling tonight.

Lunch time means coffee and biscuits so that's the next few hours sorted.

Went to meet the new boss and VAT colleague for a coffee this morning. Good chat, seems I shall be travelling a bit. Sweden first apparently.

Now packing light, and watching the rain fall. Scorchio for the next couple of weeks. Even our resident heliophile would approve of the amount of sunshine and heat in southern Spain just now.

Took a punt on the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised, quite decent.

    No Grockles here.

But dropped off toots and Mrs P to Mabie Farm Park and I met up with old college mate and family and had the chompiest bundy in the clundy at Mrs Green's Tea room.
Galloway beef burger with cheese and tomato relish, side salad and tortilla washed down with 2 latte's* and some lemon and blueberry cake.

*Cake was too dry without it.

    Laters.

I like a glass of cold milk with a slice of cake that's too dry.

Or a nice black filter coffee.

All packed. Some currency bought and collected. Foreign transaction fee-free credit card activated. Checked in. Books bought. Advance tickets to various sights bought. Trains booked. Car hired. Taking mutt to kennels first thing, then tidying up so it's nice when we get back.

One of your past conquests in a poor disco lighting situation?

Evening wage slaves, last night in ciderland then it's off home tomorrow. Just got to pack and then finish the contentsnof the fridge. Al,ost got a tan and found a particularly good cider round here that I hope is sold in supermarkets and not just ye olde west country scrumpy dens.
