Never been so pleased to see rain than I was yesterday, had a good soak last night and a bit more forecast later. There's only so much I can shout at trees before I have to concede that it's not their fault for dying 2 months after they went in the ground and find something else to blame. I've been shouting at the sky for weeks.

WFH again, the bike shop broke my new bottom bracket so they are putting a new one in this morning, slightly nervous they might have done some damage to the frame but luckily I'll force them to replace it if they have. Finally get a lovely aero bike with tight rear clearances back just in time for the weather to change...

    Morning.
Pleasant out here, back feels fine today. Unfortunately my shoulder now hurts like hell, it now seems my body parts take it in turn to give me some gip. I may attempt a bike ride later, a couple of 100k should sort things out.

Working in Manchester and it's raining- not surprised

Here because my grandparents are both in hospital for separate reasons, so visiting them later. This may muck up my tt plans - which means avoiding a certain forum member :)

Wasn't your bike there because they were fitting a new BB?

Cloudy and damp here. Going for a ride at Llandegla, should still be dry but that bike could do with a wash anyway.

In 2 minds about going to the time trial this evening having seen the weather forecast and the video of another local one last night that was cancelled due to the road flooding 10 minutes after the first rider set off.

Yeah they were meant to be fitting a new one, he said it went in wrong and cracked the plastic bit that goes between both cups. Not quite sure how that happens without destroying the frame but we shall see

Enjoy Llandegla, shouldn't be many diversions...

Feel free to look at all the young trees and tell me if they are brown or not

Another Friday evening, another (ok, same one) airport, where the bar stools are uncomfortable and the drinks are outrageously expensive.

Pick up new/used car tomorrow, which pretty much guarantees the weather will be shite all weekend. Mini Cooper S in nice tidy nick, should be fun to punt around a nippy little manual shift for a change.

In other news... doctors, specifically "Specialists"... meh.

I was up at 3:45am but missed the opportunity to start today's thread. Dropped Stropteen off for her week long orchestra tour to Croatia and Slovenia. A few days ago they were planning to do an impromptu rendition of 'Football's coming home' when they were out there, but now they're just going to pretend to be French.

Went back to bed at 5 for a couple of hours then pedalled in to wake myself up. I think a couple of ciders tonight and I'll be unconscious.

I shouted at them for you, especially the ones I half rode through because they were covering the trail.

The only brown ones were the ones all over the trail that someone had been hacking to bits :D

Car currently in the garage having new brake pads, and apparently the wheel was about to fall off. Reckoned they'd be done by 5 though...
