One for Malcolm if he's listening...

Got a small puncture on the rear, watched Malcolm's yootoob vid on repairing tubeless which is good but when I came to look closely at the tyre I can tell there's a reasonable amount of wear on it in that I can feel that the middle portion is thinning and I'm wondering at what point I should replace it. There are wear indicators on the tyre just offset from centre, are these are good indicator so replace once these disappear?

I'm minded to fit a patch on the inside of the tyre and keep riding it for a bit longer. At what point do you replace these tyres? When they start puncturing a bit too often or what?

I replace the tyre when punctures stop sealing (i,e the hole is just too big) or I get frequent punctures like one day this winter when i got 4 in one day (worms are not free even to me). Then I know the tyre is too thin and its time for a change. Yes the wear indicator is a resonable guide.

One customer posted on face book this week his IRC that was run to casing. Hes 18stone too and he got more miles from them than i do.

Thanks Malcolm. Looked more carefully at the tyre, its worn "flat" in the centre but the wear indicators are still showing, so will repair it. Glad you mentioned in the video that these IRCs can take a repair patch on the inside as that's what I'll do.
