Hi all,

I'm after a windproof Jersey/Jacket and not sure what to get.

Obviously Castelli is considered but really like my Ale summer gear.

Anyone with experience from their winter kit? It's expensive I know but so is Castelli.

Issue is their jerseys don't seem to be windproof whereas the jackets are.

Any tips are welcome.

Recently I've been going out in Ale stuff.

Just a normal winter jersey and windproof baselayer has been a winner for me.

I have a Ale PRR Tirreno Long Sleeve Jersey and it's definitely a spring/autumn item with just a base layer underneath and a gilet in the pocket.
It's a bit fleecy and while not entirely windproof, it does a decent job of keeping warmth in.

same as Singleton. solid top layer and one or 2 bases and you are good for weather down to about 2 degrees...
  • I have an Ale PRR Bering Jacket. It's brilliant. Stick it over a long sleeve jersey and sleeveless base layer and I'm good down to almost zero degrees.
