Beziers/Serignan - bike hire & routes

I'm going to be there in the summer. Can anyone recommend anywhere to hire a decent road bike and know any routes please? I'm thinking a few hours, early doors before the family wake up (and it gets too hot).

    A few years ago I stayed at Maureilhan, just NW of Beziers, and enjoyed rides to the N and NW, for instance
    - via Murviel and Faugeres to Herepian, then NW to the small Col des 13 Vents, through Combes to Le Poujol, and down the Orb valley past Roquebrune and Cessenon (about 100 km),
    and
    - up the Orb valley to Mons, then W through Olargues, NW over the Col de Fontfroide to Fraise, then SW to St. Pons, returning through St. Chinian (about 130 km).
